Italian Sacred Site

Three hills found in the Parco Regionale di Montevecchia et della Valle del Curone, a regional park northeast of Milan, Italy, may constitute an ancient and long forgotten sacred site.

Two visits to this site are described at [1], visits prompted by viewing obscure websites heralding the discovery of pyramids in Italy in 2003 based on satellite photography.

As described on the above website, it's not likely that ancient Egyptian-style stone pyramids lurk beneath the soil of these old hills (Montevecchia means old hills), but some of those who have actually visited the site can attest to its unusual nature.

No archaeological excavations have been made at the site and few historical references of any kind have turned up; the term sacred site, then, can only be applied based strictly on subjective "evidence."

The Great Coordination Point Expedition -- [2] -- looks forward to reading reports of visits to the site by sensitive individuals while hoping that archeologists will eventually get around to investigating it in their own particular way.
