Grey Man of Ben Macdhui

Ben Macdhui is the tallest mountain in the Cairngorms, with a height of 1309 metres (4296 feet) - making it the second highest peak in Scotland. It is reputed to be haunted by an unknown creature, known locally as 'Am Fear Liath Mòr' ('big grey man of Ben Macdhui'), described often as a malign humanoid entity, although often simply as a presence, and occasionally as a cryptozoological creature similar to Bigfoot.
Rare eye witness accounts describe the Big Grey Man as being around ten feet tall, covered in hair and with very long arms and legs. Often witnesses will instead simply hear footsteps following them, and on one occasion a booming voice was heard speaking a language that sounded similar to Gaelic, and many felt a strange sense of fear.
