Andre Douzet

André Douzet (July 24, 1947-) is a French researcher and author, currently living near Perpignan, France.

Authorship

André Douzet is the author of several books in the French language. He has three English titles to his name:

• Saunière’s model and the Secret of Rennes-le-Château: The priest’s final legacy that unveils the location of his terrifying discovery (2001)

• The Secret Vault: The secret societies’ manipulation of Saunière and the secret sanctuary of Notre-Dame-de-Marceille (with Philip Coppens) (2006)

• The Wanderings of the Grail: The Cathars, the search for the Grail and the discovery of Egyptian relics in the French Pyrenees (2006)

Career

André Douzet is best known for his discovery of the so-called Saunière's model, discovered in 1994, with public revelation in 1995, mapping in part the landscape of the abandoned village of Perillos, near Perpignan, France.

Media appearances

André Douzet appeared in ProSieben's documentary on The Da Vinci Code, as well a Tellus Film documentary on the Grail.
